Podranea ricasoliana Pink Trumpet Vine

Also called the Port St Johns creeper, Podranea ricasoliana belongs to the Bignoniaceae family. Native to Southern Africa, it has glossy evergreen foliage and pinnate leaves. Its flowers, which are pink with red veins, are very ornamental. Blooms mid-summer. 140mm pot $3.80 +GST


 

Vigna caracalla Blue Snail Creeper

The blue snail creeper is a vigorous evergreen climber grown for its unusual flowers. There are two forms of Vigna caracalla - one has blue/purple flowers and the second has white fading to yellow fragrant flowers. The blue variety has flowers most of the year and is very vigorous. The yellow variety is semi-deciduous climber. Both varieties prefer good well drained soils. Best in frost free areas is drought tender. Grows to 5m. 175mm pot $6.00 +GST and postage.
